Suite Holiday Party Attire: Gift Wrapped
I attended my first Christmas party of the season this weekend so I pulled out my party dress. I love this little Jessica McClintock dress because when I wear it feel like a package, all dresses up with a bow. It was my lucky day because I found a very nice consignment store in Fairfax along the way called Chic Envy. I will definitely become a frequent visitor, possibly for some holiday shopping.

Football Madness
Looking to rep your team but can't make it to the football game, then throw a tailgate party at work. Check out my team spirit for my Cowboys at the Redskins vs. Cowboys Showdown. We are raising money for charity by showing support for our favorite team. So the next time that you are get the football bug during a work week, throw on your favorite team tee with a blazer or relaxed suit and spread the cheer.
Here is my friend Kelly sporting a cute tuxedo jacket that she picked up from Charlotte Russe. Tuxedo jackets are so good at hiding your trouble spots that I had to ask her to point out her baby bump. How cute is she!!
Suite Style Quota #1
I am happy to announce the Winner of our first Suite Style Quota. The winner is .....Regina from Arlington, VA. She wore a plaid scarf, black tee, coordinating cardigan and a leather jacket to watch her nephew play soccer. She has set the bar pretty high for soccer mom's everywhere. Her blue plaid scarf was a gift from Scotland and she paired it with a leather jacket to keep her nice and toasty during the game. Not only did she incorporate plaid into her layered outfit but she added another fall fashion trend, Leather. She is my Style Guru for the week!! Thank you a bunch for participating and I look forward to seeing how working women everywhere continue to meet their Style Quotas.
Vintage Glam Pick
This is a follow up to my previous post: Vintage Glam! Recently, I asked "Which of the 3 dresses listed in my Vintage Glam post did you think I purchased at the NY vintage dress shop, Dusty Buttons?" and you said the green and blue one.
Well Suities, you were right!!!
I fell in love the moment I saw it. Once I put it on, I felt like a character in the TV series, Mad Men. If you do not plan on buying a vintage dress any time soon, but want to get the look than throw on some plain slacks, a patterned cardigan, pearls and twist back your hair like this:
It is so very simple and chic! I picked up this cardigan from Target and slacks from Banana Republic. I felt polished and pulled together. I cant wait to see your Mad Men inspired looks.
